3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-12 is woven from Nextel 312 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide roving that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. 3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-12, is woven from Nextel 312 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide roving and is designed to withstand continuous high temperatures and can act as a flame barrier. Due to the unique properties of Nextel 312 fiber, these products outperform the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles. Our Nextel fabric AF-12 is often used as a component in flame barriers, high temperature seals. It may also be used as a reinforcement for ceramic matrix composites (CMC) and polymer matrix composites (PMC).
