3M™ Ultrapro™ Autobody Sealant is a heavy-bodied, solvent-based, seam sealer that adheres to painted metal, glass and aluminum. This autobody sealant was formulated to be quick-skinning, fast-curing and rapid-drying, making it ideal for applications that require speed and timeliness. In addition, this high-solids adhesive provides low shrinkage and remains flexible over time.
For applications that require fast results, 3M™ Ultrapro™ Autobody Sealant is an excellent, heavy-bodied, solvent-based, seam sealer that is quick to skin, cure and dry. We designed this sealant to adhere to properly prepared primer and paint on meal, glass and aluminium. This product is a high solids adhesive that provides low shrinkage for consistent results. We engineered this seam sealer with a common, easy-to-use cartridge system. With a 5-10 minute worktime, this heavy-bodied sealant remains flexible over time and can be used for many applications, including door skins, rocker panels, rear body panels, trunk seams and floor pans. This product has a 45-minute dry time and is paintable at that point. 3M™ Ultrapro™ Autobody Sealant is suitable for a variety of external or non-passenger compartment sealing applications on automobiles.
