3M™ Kerracel™ Gelling Fibre Dressing is a versatile carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) primary dressing for moderately exuding wounds.

Made from 100% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibres, Kerracel Dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate1*, forming a gel1* which conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment. As fluid is absorbed vertically and locked away1, peri-wound skin is protected from maceration2. The unstitched design aids micro-contouring to the wound bed3*, minimising dead space where bacteria can proliferate*. Conformability aids ease of application4, whilst its ability to retain integrity when wet1* helps to facilitate integral removal.
