3M™ Heat Shrink End Cap SKE provides mechanical and environmental protection as well as sealing to cable ends. The semi rigid, flame retardant polyolefin construction makes the end cap suitable for heavy duty applications. The adhesive lining forms a permanent, flexible and water resistant barrier.

3M™ SKE is a semi-rigid, cross-linked modified polyolefin heatshrink cable end cap with hot melt adhesive. Minimum shrink temperature is 120°C, operating temperature is -30°C to +135°C. SKE is RoHS compliant, halogen free and provides good corrosion resistance. On application of heat the adhesive melts and the part shrinks forming a perfect watertight seal. End caps are designed for quick and easy insulation, sealing of cable end for indoor and outdoor applications and provides resistance to abrasion, weathering and chemical attack. SKE is available in sizes from 8/4 mm to 126/63 mm with a wall thickness (recovered) of 2.5-4.0 mm and colour black. Standard packaging in bulk- or standard-pack.
